Great Great Great Grandmother of Theodore L Durgan ..Rebecca Kerr,,She is the oldest one in the five generation picture with my mother,,Ethelwynn ,, Grand Mother Marjorie,,Tillie ,Rachel and Rebecca,, Rebecca Had four husbands & nine children. After the death of Allen Broxson, Her two children by William Morrison Having come west earlier persuaded their mother to make the move. In the spring 1864 She started west by ox Team With The Five Younger Children. One of the oxen died and she was loaned an ox by somebody in the wagon train. They arrived in Walla Walla, Washington in the fall of 1864. She was member of the Methodist Episcopal Church for over 50 Years. She died of a stroke at the age of 80 years and 8 months. She was survived by five children 27 Grandchildren And 41 Great GrandShe was married to William Morrison in 1841 in Wisconsin. Children were: Rachel Elizabeth Morrison*, John James Morrison .

Alexander Mcqueen was born in 1710. In Scotland He died in 1804.
McQueen, Alexander (c. 1710-1804) came to America with the 42nd Highland Regiment during the Seven Years War, then settled in the American colonies where his son Daniel McQueen (1764-1854) was born.
Alexander and his son came to Upper Canada in 1787 and lived at Bertie Township, Welland County. He settled in Woodhouse Township in 1804 and was a founder of Port Dover. Includes four generations of descendants
The 42nd was sent to New York in 1756, and fought in the first battle of Fort Ticonderoga in 1758, losing over half its troops in a valiant assault on the breastworks.
Prior the the action at Ticonderoga, the Black Watch was given the distinction of being a "Royal" regiment, changing the uniform's facings from buff to royal blue, and earning the right to bear a distinctive seal on the colours and drums. The regiment was known from then on as The 42nd (Royal Highland) Regiment or Royal Highlanders. The Regiment took part in actions throughout North America, as far west as Forts De Chartres, on the Mississippi River in Illinois.
